We conquer gravity, travel faster than the speed of sound, and thrive in conditions that would normally be impossible to endure. Air travel offers a unique viewpoint of our planet and gives us moments to indulge in books, movies, and conversations.

While Superman has his powers and Iron Man has his tech, we have airplanes—and the remarkable engineering that goes into them. At cruising altitudes, the amount of oxygen is significantly lower, and temperatures are frigid. Yet, we remain comfortable inside the aircraft! Without the protective environment of a plane, one would need specialized gear, akin to a space suit, to survive.
