Therefore, individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, or other forms of emotional distress may find themselves struggling precisely because they feel stifled in their capacity to grow and flourish.
Environmental factors or ongoing stress can hinder our growth, as can the lifestyles we create and the relationships we nurture. Ultimately, when our efforts toward self-actualization are obstructed, mental health challenges are often close behind.
